Draft Mode is a dedicated writing pane that opens alongside your chat. Instead of getting long responses in chat messages, the AI creates structured documents in the draft pane. You can request changes through conversation, review version history, and export the final result to PDF, LaTeX, Markdown, or HTML. It's perfect for reports, articles, code documentation, and any long-form content.
You can create specialized AI agents with custom instructions, tool access, and model preferences. For example, create a 'Researcher' agent that uses web search and RAG, or a 'Writer' agent optimized for long-form content. Mention any agent with @name in your conversation to route tasks to the right specialist. Agents can even spawn sub-agents for complex multi-step tasks.
MAGUS supports 15+ models from all major providers including OpenAI (GPT-5), Anthropic (Claude Opus 4.5), Google (Gemini 3), xAI (Grok), Perplexity (Sonar Pro), and more. You can switch models mid-conversation or let the Auto-Router automatically pick the best model for each task.
The coding sandbox runs Python code in a secure, isolated environment. When you ask the AI to create something — a spreadsheet, chart, LaTeX document, or even a web game — it writes and executes real code, then delivers the generated files for you to download. The sandbox has access to popular Python libraries like pandas, matplotlib, numpy, and more.
You can upload Word documents (.docx), Excel spreadsheets (.xlsx), PDFs, images (PNG, JPG, etc.), CSV files, plain text, code files, and more. All uploaded files are automatically indexed for semantic search (RAG), so the AI can reference your documents when answering questions.
Yes. Your conversations and files are stored securely and are only accessible to you (and anyone you explicitly invite to a multiplayer chat). The coding sandbox runs in isolated containers. We don't use your data to train AI models. You can delete your conversations and files at any time.
